Olavo Belo

Born in Angola in 1979, Olavo arrived in Geneva at the age of 18. The following year, he left for the first time to Brazil for training at the academy Gracie Humaita, led by Gracie. On this trip, he met André Negao, student and teacher Gracie BJJ Nova Iguaça, a suburb of Rio de Janeiro. 

Since then, Olavo will devote his life to training and teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA. Through hard work, he won many international titles as a competitor and obtained a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2008 after more than 10 years, he opened his first academy in 2014 and one second as the NEW NATION , where he teaches courses in his favorite discipline with a view to perpetuate in Geneva, the education received by his instructors with wisdom and professionalism.
